S3 Chemistry is an engaging course that offers a practical experience that develops the key concepts required to progress in Chemistry. Over the course of S3, pupils who opt to study Chemistry will complete 2 units. Each unit is based upon the Experiences and Outcomes of level 4 of the Curriculum for Excellence. The concepts covered over S3 provide the basis for study of Chemistry at National 4 and 5 levels in S4.
