Week Commencing: 19th August

Hello,

Well done on surviving the first week back, I hope it was a smooth start to the year.

This week we have our first subject meetings of the year. We will be looking at some aspects of our SQA results as well as development priorities for the year.

We also have the freshers fayre to prepare for, relaunching our clubs including some new ones!

Expectations

Let's start the year as we mean to go on.

Please spend time with all classes S1-S6 emphasising classroom routines and expectations. Including no toilet visits!

You should have now taken all new S1-S4 classes through the classroom expectations presentation shared by Elaine.

General Updates

- Handbook reminder
  - A reminder that I need all staff/teams to check through the Handbook Course outlines by the end of August and make any amendments as appropriate.
- Observed Lessons and PRD's
  - I will start to create a timetable for both observations and PRD's this week. I aim to have these all completed by the October break.
- Freshers Fayre
  - Please create posters, volunteer rotas and look out resources for Wednesday.
