3rd President
Jeremy was President at the ALC for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. Since enrolling, he has attended nearly every student union meeting. However, it wasn't until Joe Ekberg's resignation as 'Union Minister' that Jeremy decided to become actively involved in the union. He formerly served under Cadence's administration as Vice President.
2nd President
Cadence, new to the ALC, was initially appointed by Joe Ekberg as the Adjutant to the Union Minister during the first quarter of the 2023-2024 school year. In February, he assumed the role of Union Minister, leading the Executive Board. His objective was to facilitate smoother operations for students and teachers at the ALC. He was scheduled to graduate before 2025, within the 2024-2025 school year.
1st President
Joe was the inaugural Union Minister for the SCV-ALC Student Union. He played a pivotal role during the challenging initial stages alongside Dono, where discussions often revolved around contentious topics. Joe took initiative by drafting documents to support and amplify student voices. He demonstrated a strong commitment to enhancing student mental health within the school, leading significant efforts to establish the ALC as a mentally safe environment for all. In early 2024, Joe resigned for personal reasons, which he chose to keep private. He was succeeded by Cadence, his former Adjutant, following his victory in the Union Minister election.
Founder & Student Representative for the ALC
He was the senior-most member of the ALC's student government, responsible for overseeing student life within the ALC and representing the student body as a whole. His role included speaking with school and district officials, as well as participating in school board meetings on behalf of the ALC student body. An experienced debater with a strong background in cultural politics and history, he successfully founded the SCV-ALC Student Union during the 2023–24 school year, following a previous unsuccessful attempt in 2022–23. He continued loyal and dedicated service through 2025, serving 4 terms as Student Representative.
Leaving remarks, "Fight to bring back what we once had."
Board of Founders
While Jess never formally served on the executive board of the student union nor attended any meetings, his contributions to the organization are undeniable. He played a pivotal role during the inception of the student union, as he was present during the initial proposal introduced by Dono. Moreover, Jess formulated the titles and defined the associated duties that continue to guide the union's daily operations. It is unquestionable that had he remained in school, Jess would have undoubtedly been a prominent member of the executive board.
