Ms. Lemmons 8th Grade Science

Stillwater Junior High School

Hello! My name is Ms. Lemmons and I can not wait to teach each and everyone of you how to answer the question "why?". Science allows us to answer all the "why"'s of our life and bonus, it can be FUN while doing so. I am so glad to be part of the team here at Stillwater Jr. High School and helping teach our communities 8th grade minds!

I received my Associates of Science in 2017 from NEO A&M College in Miami, OK before moving to Stillwater to complete my Bachelors of Science in Animal Science here at Oklahoma State. I graduated in May of 2019 and over this last year I have worked to receive my teaching certification so that I can do what I am truly passionate about.. teaching our future's youth!

It is just me and my dog at home! This is Titos. He is an Australian shepherd and heeler mix. I got him from an aussie rescue when I moved to Stillwater and he has been stuck to my side ever sense. I grew up in Claremore, OK and back home I have my mom and dad, older sister and her husband and their three boys! For now, my nephews, my dog, and my students are all the "kids" I have!

I know this year will look different than years past, but I promise to pour all my effort into my students and make sure we are still being as interactive and having as much fun as possible WHILE learning all the cool things science can offer!
