Misty Vaverka

Book Bus Library Media Assistant

My name is Misty Vaverka, but all the kids at Will Rogers call me Ms. V because no one can pronounce my last name. I have worked for SPS for almost 6 years. I have two kids - Jax who will be in 10th grade next year and Hayley who is a nurse here in Stillwater.

I love reading. I always have at least one book in my bag and usually my kindle also. I like all kinds of books from thrillers to ones that are sad. I am so happy I will get to see so many of you I already know and to meet new friends this summer when you come to the Book Bus!

Then when her friend, and her don't won't to do the same thing she has a hard time doing things. She meets a friend at the camp. She starts to lie, and has a game. Favorite books: Sunny, The Mysterious Benedict Society, Ender's Game

"This is my favorite book; the first two pages had me hooked. The way the author phrases things in kind of a random stream of thought way is how I think, so it was really easy for me to relate to the main character. Sunny has a lot to overcome, and I really loved the story of how he tries to balance the competing things in his life. It's all really well done and in a quirky way."
