“Through Our Eyes” is a long-term photographic project, launched in 2019 and still ongoing, that has involved 156 children aged 9 to 17. The very young photographers are all students of Still I Rise’s emergency and international schools. After attending a photography workshop, they are provided with cameras to tell their stories and lives through the universal language of photography.
Through Our Eyes is coming to Chicago in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago. The exhibition will be open on weekends from September 16th to October 8th.
