There have been many challenges that have been thrown at you in recent times and I am incredibly proud of how you have dealt with them. Back in Year 10 I would often talk to you individually and collectively in assemblies about the importance of attending masterclasses. Many schools up and down the country will use masterclasses as a way of solidifying and building upon student progress leading up to their final exams. There is a reason for this - many students find themselves improving by several grades just by committing fully to their participation in the programme.

Even though the current situation places many restrictions on how we can operate as a school, I am extremely pleased that we are able to offer Year 11 a masterclass programme this year, as well as access to an exciting new website which will be home to all of the information relevant to you as a year group. This programme may look different to previous years, but I believe, with full participation and commitment from you as students, it will make a difference for your futures.
