Welcome to ART at St. Genevieve School! I'm Mrs. Raisch and this is a special place where all students in K-8 are encouraged to express themselves creatively and try out new ideas through a variety of art and design projects.Â

This is Mrs. Raisch's 10th year teaching Art at St. Genevieve School. She is a designer, seamstress, painter, dreamer, and animal lover! She lives in Wyncote, PA with her husband, 2 teenagers, and a fat orange cat. Mrs. Raisch graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Her teaching philosophy is simple: to nurture the enjoyment and appreciation of making art through a wide variety of projects. She believes drawing helps young minds express themselves and supports strong observational and problem-solving skills. When she's not in the classroom, Mrs. Raisch can be found on her bike, riding the trails in Penny Pack Park, or in her basement studio painting her whimsical characters in vibrant colors. Mrs. Raisch is a member of the Cheltenham Center for the Arts and Artessa Alliance, an award-winning group of women visual artists in the Philadelphia area.
