About Mrs. Andrus
My name is Mrs. Amy Andrus, and this is my third year at St Gabriel. I have a background in Education where I assisted in teaching Kindergarten for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools overseas in Italy, and I have worked for Mehlville and Lindbergh districts as a substitute teacher. This will be my 4th year of teaching Second grade at St. Gabriel. My favorite subject to teach is Math. I'm excited about leading the second graders through the steps for Reconciliation and First Communion!
I have my Bachelors Degree from St. Leo University and certified to teach grades 1st to 6th grade.
I like to make different crafts in my free time such as door wreaths, bows and painting. I also enjoy family walks and weight lifting.
My husband is a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force. We have two children: Isabella and Timothy Jr. (T.J.). My son is active in High School Wrestling, and my daughter plays clarinet in her High School marching band.
