✅HOMEWORK: No homework 🎉 NO packet quiz this week.
🇺🇲 MONDAY, MAY 29: No School! Memorial Day.
🤩 THURSDAY, JUNE 1: Field Day!!! Please send your child to school wearing:
- a gray t-shirt
-comfortable shorts and shoes
-a generous application of sunscreen
~> Please also send in a towel, just in case we use the sprinkler.
☀ FRIDAY, JUNE 2: Trojan Dress Down Day. Students may wear their Trojan Spirit gear or red and black and dress down for the last day of school.
Early Release Day. Students will be dismissed directly after our 11:30 mass at 12:30. There is no aftercare on this day. Please make arrangements to pick your child up from school between 12:30-1:00.
🗓ABC COUNTDOWN CALENDAR ITEMS-
Wednesday, May 31: We will celebrate our summer birthdays during our Xtra recess today. If your child has a summer birthday, please refer to the email sent to you on Wednesday.
Friday, June 2: Please send in an extra bag to help your child carry their materials home for the summer.
***If your child will be leaving prior to the last scheduled day of school, please let me know at your earliest convenience so that I can ensure they leave with all of their things***
🥰 THANK YOU all so very much for allowing me to spend this year with your children. Each child has been a blessing to me and to their classmates. I anticipate a wonderful year ahead for this precious group! Here's to your SECOND graders!
🍎 CLASSROOM SNACK: We have an abundance of snacks in our classroom! Thank you for your generosity! No need to bring in snacks.
📖LIBRARY: If you have any library books at home, please make sure to return those to Mrs. Teagarden.
📷CLASS PHOTO SITE: I will continue to take pictures of your children learning and having fun throughout the school year, and posting them to our PRIVATE facebook page titled, "SF Class of 2030". Feel free to download any pictures you'd like to have for yourselves! I hope you enjoy taking a glimpse into our first grade year together!***I have given administrative rights to Stacy Downey. After Friday, June 2, I will not have access to this private group but you may continue to use it to share photos and information. I just attended my son's 8th grade breakfast where they showed pictures from their younger years--I hope that the pictures shared here will someday be wonderful memories of your years at St. Francis together!
