Meet Dr. Valasek
Hello! My name is Dr. Valasek, and I am so excited to continue teaching Kindergarten at SSM! This year, I will be working alongside Miss Schrage and Mrs. Wolff. This will be my 26th year of teaching, and I look forward to getting to know you and your student throughout the school year.
I was born and raised in Columbus, Nebraska. I attended St. Bonadventure Elementary School and Columbus High School in Columbus, Nebraska. I graduated from Wayne State College in May 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I hold a Master's in Early Childhood (UNO), Master's in Educational Leadership (Doane), Doctorate in Leadership Administration (Doane), as well as a Bilingual Endorsement and ESL Endorsement. My husband (Al), three daughters and I have been parishioners at SSM for the past 18 years. it is a blessing to continue my educational journey at SSM and to be a part of this wonderful school community.
I can't wait for a fun and exciting year of learning and growing together!
