Scunsulata

Both our upcoming concerts have been cancelled.

Scunsulata is a vocal harmony ensemble based in the Norfolk Broads. We sing a wide variety of music from across the ages and around the world, all of it unaccompanied.

Our name means "inconsolable" in the Corsican language. We delight in singing emotionally charged songs - both sad and joyful, and all shades in between.

Here is Scunsulata at Framlingham, Suffolk, in June 2017, singing a South African song:

Some past performances:

In 2014 we were very pleased to be asked to contribute to the interpretive work at St Benet's Abbey. Five of our men could be heard at the Listening Bench on the archaeological site, singing a piece of plainsong - Puer Natus in Bethlehem.

And in June 2015 we took part in Welborne Arts Festival. We were delighted that one of our songs was chosen as the soundtrack for their video. You'll also catch a brief glimpse of us in action at 0:27.
