Meet the IBCLC
Alice Stegmann, RN, BSN, IBCLC, has had a passion for women's health from the start. As she worked in various healthcare settings as a nurse, she learned she had a particular love for helping breastfeeding families. After obtaining her IBCLC certification in 2015, she began working as a Lactation Consultant at Kalamazoo Michigan's Bronson Breastfeeding Center and Milk Bank where she had the privilege of helping hundreds of families throughout various stages of their breastfeeding journey. Alice has a particular passion and talent for working with premature and medically fragile babies and has spent much of her time as a Lactation Consultant working in the Neonatal Intensive Care setting. In 2018, Alice moved to Austin to establish a comprehensive Lactation program for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at St David's Women's Center of Texas.
Alice lives in North Austin with her husband, three children, a German Shepard, and two cats. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and making music.
