Our Purpose

Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment for four and five year old students.  Using exploration and discovery as a way of learning, Project Construct enables children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.  We are committed to creating a preschool environment that is safe, healthy and joyful. Within this context, we hope to prepare our young students for their eventual move into kindergarten and to instill a love of learning, which will continue throughout their lives.

Who Are We and Who Do We Serve?

Steelville Pre-K is accredited by Missouri Accreditation Childhood Care and Education Programs.  Children who will attend Kindergarten the following year (must be 4 years by July 31st. of the present year) are accepted through a screening process which will be held in the spring.   When screenings have been evaluated we will contact parents via phone and/or letter.  When enrollment maximum is reached, a waiting list will be activated.  Plan ahead; get your application in early.  Meet Your Teacher Night will kick off the fall term.  You will be notified by mail of this date.
