The St. Edward's University Writing Center, located on the second floor of the Munday Library, helps students, faculty, staff, and alumni grow as writers in an environment of collaboration, not instruction

We are happy to announce that we are returning to on-campus live sessions in the Writing Center as of Fall 2023. We will continue to offer Zoom sessions and online submission.

We Help You in Four Ways

The St. Edward's University Writing Center offers four types of free, one-on-one writing help: in-person, video conference, written feedback on drafts, and online Q&A.

Submit a draft for written feedback

When your schedule doesn't allow you to make a real-time appointment, submit a draft online for written feedback on the page above. Response takes between 24 and 72 hours, depending on usage.

Submit a question

Have a brief writing question? Email writingcenter@stedwards.edu. You'll get a response within 24 hours.

To check for available appointments, schedule an appointment, or cancel an appointment, please use TutorTrac, our online scheduling app. Look for "Video conference Writing Center" to find appointments for video conference sessions. Write down the name of the consultant so you can accept their invitation to a Zoom meeting at the appointed time.

NOTE: Please use a computer, not a smartphone or tablet.  Phones and tablets usually don’t work well for videoconferencing.
