Before 1st Use:
Download OpenSCAD
Make an account on Tinkercad
Download PrusaSlicer
Steps:
Come up with an idea, start simple!
Create CAD, either in OpenSCAD or Tinkercad
You can also get a premade CAD from Thingiverse
Export CAD to an .stl file
Turn on & preheat 3D printer for PLA
Import .stl file into the PrusaSlicer
Resize object in PrusaSlicer
Set up printer settings in PrusaSlicer
Nozzle temp: 200o - 215o
Bed temp: 50o - 65p
Brim: 3mm - 5mm
Slice to a .gcode file in PrusaSlicer
Export the .gcode file in PrusaSlicer
Remove SD card from the 3D printer
Insert SD card into you computer using provided dongle
Move .gcode file onto the SD card
Eject and remove the dongle from your computer
Put SD card back in the 3D printer
Optional: choose a new filament, if you don’t like the color already there
Select “Unload filament” and follow on screen instructions
Put the new filament spool on the filament holder above the machine
Select “Load filament” and follow on screen instructions, the filament goes in the hold closet to you on top of the nozzle
Select “Print from SD card” from the printer interface
Select your .gcode file, it will be near the top of the list
Wait for your object to print, monitoring it along the way
Carefully remove your object from the bed of the machine
Enjoy your new 3D printed object!
