We are back with our Spring Musical!

It is required that each family has a parent volunteer signed up for a crew shift during tech week/run of the show and be available for Large Hall cleanup after the show on Sunday, April 6.

NOTE: We want to invite middle schoolers who have never participated in drama.

This show has lots of amazing lead roles for both boys and girls!

Audition Prep

Tech Week

Tech Week Rehearsals are Mandatory for all cast members
Cast members may be called anytime on Saturday and Sunday, and anywhere from 4-8:30 PM on Weeknights

Enrollment

Enroll online by clicking the ENROLL NOW button above. Last day to enroll is December 12, 2024

Enrollment includes a script, show shirt, rehearsal tracks, and 10 weeks of instruction in singing, dancing, and acting. The tuition fee does NOT include all costumes. Those who enroll and complete the instruction are guaranteed a role in the ensemble. A $25 optional lead audition prep class will be held on Monday 12/9, 3:15-5:15 PM for grades 3rd-8th only. Advance enrollment is required. Attending the audition prep workshop is not mandatory for a part in the musical and does not guarantee a lead role.

Fees

Enrollment: $185 for all participating cast members.

Audition Prep: Optional $25 to attend.

Lead Fees: $60 for Principal Lead Roles, $30 for Featured Leads.

Costumes: Cast members may be responsible for some or all of the associated costs for their ensemble costumes.

Please make Registration Payments on the St. Cornelius School's PaySimple page. A ~3.5% PaySimple Service fee does apply at the time of checkout.

Yayas performance contract

While filling out the online registration form, Student actors and parents will agree to the terms of the contract to maintain students' roles at the time of performance. You can read the contract here but digitally sign it upon enrollment.

The parent meeting will be held on Zoom on December 5th, at 7:00 PM to accommodate parents' busy schedules.

Spring 2025 STC Drama Support Staff

Director: Lynsie (Yaya) McCullough-Seeds

Yaya is the owner/operator of Yaya's Performance Academy and has been directing shows at St. Cornelius since 2017.

Parent Admin/Projections/Photo/Video:

Gregory R.R. Crosby

Lead point person for show budgets and enrollment. Also handles the show video projection, videography, and photography.

Parent Admin/Sets: Bill D'Alvia

Lead point person for parent questions and operations.

Stage Manager: Diane Fiorelli

Diane calls the show connecting all of the cues to work with the action on stage.

Theater Tech: Nick Ferrigno

With a lighting and theater background, Nick is an amazing addition to the St. Cornelius Drama parent crew.

Costume Crew: Sylvia Carrera, Lauren Crosby

Costumes are an important part of the stage experience, and this group of crafty parents provides the final touches that turn students into stars.

We have secured licensing for Video Recordings and ticketed Live Streams of our Saturday performances to be sold (both A and B) We are excited to offer this multi-camera viewing option for friends and family who may not be able to travel to see our stars perform.
