Puppets and stuffed animals can bring Story Time to life! If you're new to using puppets, here are some tips to get you started:
Keep in mind that, to a young child, the puppets and stuffed animals are real (so keep up the illusion!).
The puppet should have a "home." This could be a basket, box, or any other container.
The puppet should have a "job." This could be handing you the book, helping you sing a song, or something else. When the puppet is done doing its job, it should go back to its home.
If you aren't ready to make the puppet speak, feel free to just have it nod its head or whisper in your ear.
