Willkommen! Here you will find resources you will need to help you this year. All of your assignments will be on Google Classroom but the links you will need to complete those assignments and activities will be here. You can also take a look at upcoming units both in your year and coming years so you know what's next.

Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to find tools and resources for all levels of German!

This site is continually under construction as we add more information and resources!

German 1 will introduce you to the language and culture of German. Learn how to greet people, introduce yourself and most important: eat!

German 2 will give you a better understanding of grammar and more vocabulary so you can go shopping, celebrate holidays and even visit the zoo and talk about it in German.

This is a blended class for upper level German. Each year we will cycle the topics so you don't get repeats. You will gain skills and knowledge with each year, and by German 5 you will be the kings and queens of Deutsch!

Textbücher (Textbooks)

This leveled textbook series is our official textbook. We do have physical copies in the classroom but each student also has access to a digital copy of the book and its online exercises.

This is a teacher-made resource book that has all the the grammar concepts that we cover in German levels 1-5. Students may also have a paper copy but all the pages are available here digitally and the specific grammar pages for each unit are available on that unit's page.

HILFSMITTEL

These websites will help you learn, write, speak, read and get more explanation on grammar concepts. Make sure to look at the content page for specific links about what you are learning at the moment!

Common European Framework of Languages is a way that European countries show what level this resources is meant for. The scale is (from easiest to hardest): A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2. A person at A1 has just started and a person at C2 can live and work in the language like a native-speaker. Many of the resources below will be labeled with this system. German 1 is at A1, German 2 is A1-A2, German 3 is A2-B1 and German 3/4/5 is B1-B2.
