Session Description:
The global pandemic has upended everyday life as we knew it, and its long-ranging impacts have stretched far beyond what many expected. Educators/school staff have borne much of the brunt, working on the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis. This mini-retreat workshop will introduce bite-size strategies for renewal and rejuvenation at a critical time when we need to refill our reservoirs. As we near the second anniversary of the pandemic’s onset this spring, it is critical to look back on what we have accomplished in our campus communities over the past year and harvest the seeds for recovery we have planted – even when they may seem hard to find. Join us for a restorative session of reflection, appreciation, and contemplation while we invest in learning sustainable ways to care for ourselves. Anyone who teaches and/or supports students in their work is welcome to attend.
