Session Description:

The New Undergraduate Experience (NUE) report is a declaration meant to clearly express Massachusetts education leaders’ and students’ collective vision for the cultural, curricular, pedagogical, and structural changes needed for a public higher education transformation. Join Dr. Robert Awkward as he tells the story of how this initiative moved through the Massachusetts system.

Dr. Robert Awkward, Assistant Commissioner for Academic Effectiveness, Massachusetts Department of Higher Education. Dr. Awkward has 25 years of diversified, and progressive experiences in higher education with an emphasis on assessment; training and development; human resources, general and program management; and consulting gained in retail, manufacturing, high technology, professional services, healthcare and non-profits. Research interests include institutional change, and institutional and student assessment.
