I will post our classroom news on this page weekly. Be sure to check the school's online communication envelope for information on everything going on at St. Bartholomew School.

11:30 Dismissal on Wednesday 4/17, School Resumes on April 29th. Happy Easter!

What's Happening in the Classroom

Holy Week has arrived with Palm Sunday. The children will see palms in the classroom and can bring in a palm to show if they received one at Mass. We will imitate the Last Supper in the classroom with some bread and grape juice on Monday and the children will finish learning about Jesus' death and resurrection on Tuesday and Wednesday. The children will attend the Stations of the Cross on Wednesday with the rest of the school family.

Our math test on numbers 11-19 will be on Tuesday. A review will be sent home on Monday for practice.

In ELA we will learn the letter Ww and review sight words. We will read fun Easter stories in the classroom as well.

Some upperclass students are coming to visit us on Monday afternoon to teach us about sustainable energy - in time for Earth Day.

The students will have a fun egg hunt on Tuesday afternoon with our Easter celebration! We are looking forward to Easter Bunny fun!

As a reminder, our Easter break begins on Wednesday, April 17th with an 11:30 dismissal. School resumes on Monday, April 29th (spring uniforms begins this day as well).

I hope you have a blessed Holy Week and wonderful Easter with your family. Enjoy the break!

Happy Easter!
