Supporting SEN Pupils

Special Educational Needs (SEN) at St Nicholas

At St Nicolas, we strive to provide all our children with a high quality, engaging and exciting learning experience. We will work hard to ensure pupils are well supported both in class and where necessary by providing additional sessions specifically aimed at addressing 'barriers to learning' or 'gaps in their learning'.

All provision is monitored carefully by the SENDCo and Head of School to ensure it is of high quality and that it meets the learning needs of the children involved.

The school will keep a register of children currently listed as having specific educational needs and a timetable of support. Parents will be informed if their child is on this register, or is removed and will be invited to review progress with the class teacher(s) termly.
