Maths Enrichment Club

Children from across our Multi Academy Trust meet here at Braddock every other Monday after school, to challenge themselves with higher level maths tasks.

Participating children have the opportunity to meet with professionals who use maths in their everyday jobs, engage in fun mini challenges and continue to develop and nurture their love of maths. Our aim is to explore and challenge new methods, and examine a range of mathematical topics including: area, algebra, converting fractions and percentages and solving multi-step word problems with a focus on mathematical fluency and greater mastery.

We keep the lessons fun and inspiring. Some of our lessons have involved chocolate challenge fractions, Christmas code breakers/santas sack challenge, OAA maths (outdoor maths), creating a scaled model of the solar system using ratio and proportion (and lots of balls!), as well as a maths Easter Trail!
