Friends of Braddock School (FOBS)
Who are the Friends of Braddock School?
The Friends of Braddock School (FOBS for short) are a group of parents that lead our fundraising activities in school. They work very hard to raise money to support our school. The money raised is used for a variety of purposes including:
- reducing the cost of trips
- providing transport for trips
- helping us to provide trips free of charge
- providing exciting opportunities within school e.g. funding visitors
- support with purchasing school resources
Regular fundraising events include:
- craft activities
- school discos
- sponsored events
Whilst there are a core group of fabulous parents that lead the FOBS, all parents/carers are welcome to share their views and to take part in the decision making and fundraising activities. There are regular FOBS meetings held, in school, usually on the third Thursday of every month. If you would like more information please pop in and ask. Keep an eye on the school newsletter where the dates of our events and meetings will be published. Please also see below:

This month we held a 'zumbathon' and a school disco. The total proceeds from the Disco (after expenses) was £219.20. The total received from the Zumbathon was £133.90. The total proceeds from the Movie afternoon (Milk and popcorn donated) was £30.12. Thanks to everyone for their support and donations.
School Disco Thanks to all who came to the disco. We had a great time, with lots of dancing, glitter tattoos and sweets. In total, with the Leaver’s Service afternoon tea and the disco, The Friends of Braddock raised nearly £140! The children were also complimented on their wonderful manners at the sweet stall!
Summer Fayre and BBQ
What a wonderful day we all had at the Summer Fayre. We were very lucky with the weather and even luckier with your generosity. A big thank you goes to the Friends of Braddock School who worked incredibly hard to put the afternoon together. Well done to the year 5s and 6s who ran their own stalls and thank you to all of you for coming along and getting involved on the day. We raised a massive £719.28 (exactly!).
