Friday, May 1, 2026: 4th Qtr. Makeup Work, Late Work, and Missing Assignments are DUE NOW; 4th Qtr. Work will not be accepted after today.
Tuesday, May 5, 2026: Behavior & Academics Reward Field Trip
Wednesday, May 6, 2026: Turn in ALL Chromebooks/Chargers
Thursday, May 7, 2026: 8th Grade Promotion @ 10 AM; Locker Cleanout; Turn in ALL locks; Lost locks cost $10
Friday, May 8, 2026: Last Student Attendance Day; 2:00 PM Dismissal; End of Year Celebration/Fun Day

NEED HELP WITH YOUR LITERARY RESPONSE PROJECT? HERE ARE SOME *PROJECT IDEAS AND **THE GRADING RUBRIC!
Approximate Percentages of Total Quarterly Grade Breakdown
20% = Literary Response Project (Reading and Responding to Fiction/Nonfiction)
30% = Daily Work/Completion/IXL (Proficiency/Mastery of Reading/Writing Standards)
50% = Assessments - Formative/Summative (Comprehension, Grammar, and Vocabulary Skills)
Late Grade Policy: 10% off the student's earned score for each day an assignment is past the due date.
Days 5-10 will be 50% off the student's earned score.
After 10 days, no credit will be given.
