Vocabulary Word Lists
Quizzes are generally taken every other Friday over the ten words we have been learning the previous two weeks. Occasionally, this could change due to upcoming scheduled events or holidays.

Approximate Percentages of Total Quarterly Grade Breakdown
20% = Literary Response Project (Reading and Responding to Fiction/Nonfiction)
30% = Daily Work/Completion/IXL (Proficiency/Mastery of Reading/Writing Standards)
50% = Assessments - Formative/Summative (Comprehension, Grammar, and Vocabulary Skills)
Late Grade Policy: 10% off the student's earned score for each day an assignment is past the due date.
Days 5-10 will be 50% off the student's earned score.
After 10 days, no credit will be given.
