The Colorado Water and Wastewater Facility Operators Certification Board (WWFOCB) maintains a program for the certification of water treatment plants, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, water distribution systems, and wastewater collections systems to assure the protection of public health and the environment.

CCWP certifies the water and wastewater operators of Colorado. CCWP staff provide customer service to operators, prospective operators, CDPHE, and system owners. CCWP reviews certification requirements, examination applications, renewal applications, reciprocity applications, and more.

There are several grant and loan funding opportunities for water and wastewater projects.
CDPHE manages and provides money for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects in Colorado, and has different tools to help entities find the right kind of money for each project. CDPHE also offers additional help in the form of training, guidance, and project management.
