Our mission is to e-publish poetry by new and emerging poets. We aim to create a space where poets' chapbooks avoid the politics of the literary world. We don't care about a poet's professional reputation and it won't influence who we pick to publish. Only the artistry, talent, craft, and creative genius in the work will be considered.
What We Publish...
We want poetry that magnifies the imperfections of humanity, push societal bounds, and removes comfort zones. We'd love to publish works that revise social consciousness into something raw, fresh, pure.
We dig poets like Ai, Anis Mojgani, Bhanu Kapil, Patricia Smith, and David Clewell. We dig novelists like Sandra Cisneros, Toni Morrison, Maxine Elva Beach, Zora Neale Hurston, Zakes Mda, Octavia E. Butler, Laura Esquivel, Teju Cole, and Patrik Ouredník.
We're drawn to poets who aren't in love with their own literary prowess. These folks are humble intellectuals, curious about the world but who questions everything. Our authors tend to be those who use words to rage against society's norms to better humanity.
