Audio (Ax) Specifications

FOH System

Stereo 4-way actively crossed FOH system capable of producing clean, undistorted sound with even dispersion to all areas of the house

Lip fill and delays required for larger stages and rooms over 400 pax

Preferred speaker systems: L’Acoustics, D&B, Meyer, Nexo, AT, KV2

FOH Audio Console

Starshine tours either an A&H Avantis Solo or SQ6 FOH console. In the unlikely event that our consoles are unavailable please supply:

Minimum 48 channel digital console.

Preferred Digital consoles: Allen & Heath SQ/Avantis/DLive

Monitor System

Starshine personnel manage monitors from stage via personal devices connected the band’s IEM rack, comprising:

A & H SQ5 console + 2 x DX168 Stage boxes (Digitally split to FOH Console)
5 x Stereo Sennheiser G4 IEM kits in the following frequency bands:
- AS – 520-558MHz
- G – 566-608MHz
- B – 626-668MHz

Please inform the Starshine Production Team ASAP if the venue has conflicting frequencies - Please note: NO radio mics are required on the show

Lighting (Lx) Specifications

Starshine tours a Chamsys Compact Connect lighting console - please provide your venue's Lx plot and Fixture list to contact@starshineband.com.au in advance of the show. Starshine also tours a floor package of lighting fixtures including Sharpies, Pix-M's, par cans and blinders mounted on 290 box truss.

If your venue is supplying fixtures, please provide minimum:

3 x Fresnell/Profile dimmable stage wash focussed individually on front line of band
Controllable coloured PAR cans and/or LED strips around stage and behind band
Specials or Moving head lights as available
4 x Blinders
Moderate level water-based haze is preferred

Video (Vx) Specifications

Starshine tours with a full Vx show operated either from USL (Bass) position or from FOH position via an HDMI connected laptop running VMix

Please advise Production Team if the venue has projection or upstage LED screen available:

Minimum preferred screen size is 4m x 3m
Minimum preferred projector brightness is 8k ANSI lumens - rear-projected if space allows
Please supply a small trestle and run Vx input for Vx equipment at USL (Bass) position

Bi-directional SDI run up to 50m, SDI converters and ATEM switcher can be provided if no stage send is available - please advise if needed.

Power Requirements

1 x 32A 3-Phase circuit for Power Distribution (If we supply FOH production) - Distro supplied by Starshine - 20m 3-Phase cable available

3 x 240v 10A circuits with 4-way powerboards to be located Drums USC, GTR Amp position USR, and Bass position USL

2 x 240v 10A circuits with 4-way powerboards to be located at Keys DSL, & GTR DSR

Stage Dimensions

Please advise stage dimensions as soon as practical to allow Starshine personnel to determine and tailor requirements around theming, draping and equipment placement.

Preferably, minimum stage size should be approx. 7m wide x 4.5m deep and minimum 3m floor to ceiling. The show is quite dynamic and performers need space to move without restriction.

Stage Risers

Drum riser minimum 2.4mW x 1.8mD on 300-450mm legs - usually positioned USC

Please advise if no risers are available as one can be provided on request

Backline

Starshine will tour all backline unless venue is remote and can provide:

1 x Keyboard stand
1 x 6-piece drum kit (Pearl Masters preferred). To include:
- Kick, Snare, 2 x rack toms, 2 x floor toms
- 6 x Cymbal stands, Hi hat Stand, 2 x Snare Stands, all tom mounts/legs.
- Double kick pedal
1 x Fender Deluxe/Deville guitar amp or equivalent

No Bass amp required

Dressing Room Requirements

Please make available:

Clean dressing room/change room space for 5 performers and 2 crew, preferably air-conditioned and as close as possible to stage
Full length mirror and seated makeup mirrors
Iron + ironing board or garment steamer
Clothes rack or hanging space for costumes
Space beside or near to stage for quick-change area

Crowd Barrier Requirements

For GA/Standing/Dance floor shows where the stage is accessible by the crowd, please provide a crowd/punter barrier for the full width of the stage - if not available, please inform Starshine production crew

Standard Show Timings

The show is approx. 2hrs 55mins long inclusive of a 20min Intermission and 15min Encore.

See below standard timings - please inform the production team if ticketed/venue specific times differ from these:

Venue clear 0030/0100 (Depending on FOH/Lx supply and difficulty of bump-out)

Note - Set times may vary slightly depending on crowd and venue (eg. dance/standing/GA or seated theatre audience)

Hospitality Rider

Please supply:

24 x bottled water
18 x Pure Blonde stubbies
6 x Stone & Wood or Peroni (full strength) stubbies
1 x 1L Canadian Club/Fireball
1 x bottle of Shiraz
6 x Non-alcoholic Ginger Beer
6 x Assorted soft drink cans/bottles
7 x Meals — 5 x Performers, 2 x Tech Crew - (1 x Vegetarian)

#After the Show:

1 x Mixed Platter (w/Cheese, Biscuit, Cold Meat, Fruit) to the Green room.

Merchandise

Starshine tours with various merchandise for sale and requires a prominent position, at least one trestle table for setting up a merch stand, and a sales person.

Please advise if the venue cannot provide a merchandise seller and whether there are any associated fees for the sale of products.

Starshine will provide a cash float and Square POS terminal that will require Internet access via WiFi.
