Requirements for NHS

NHS members are selected based on their cumulative average of 88% and higher (freshmen year to their current semester) which they maintain until graduation.

In the Spring of 2020, NHS candidates will be students in grades 10 and 11 that are in good standing according to academic and behavioral requirements.

Upon application, students must have proof of at least 10 hours of community service (freshmen year to their current semester). After being inducted into the society, NHS members must complete 20 hours of community service per school year.

NHS members demonstrate an excellent record of behavior in and out of school, and they participate in leadership roles in the classroom and community.
