Boys & Girls Rowing

Boys & Girls Rowing

Jackie Weber-Cantrell – Head Crew Coach

The St. Anthony’s “learn to row” program provides new rowers the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of rowing. The camp focuses on technique and general conditioning. These sessions are a great opportunity to try out a brand new sport, or develop more knowledge of the rowing stroke so that you can become a better boat mover and more competitive. Each session consists of lessons in which rowers learn the technique and execution of the rowing stroke, as well as rowing commands, boat handling, and the intricacies of crew dynamics. This camp will take place at St. Anthony’s as well as on the water.

The Friar Sports Camp will provide all necessary transportation to and from Gold Star Beach. Rowers will be assigned to boats and training groups based on age and ability.
