PRESCHOOL 4 year olds
Welcome to prek4! This year we're going to be diving a little further into our letters, numbers, and some fun themes!
Our goal for the end of the year is to have mastered the alphabet, sounds letters make, numbers to at least 20 and writing our names. We'll also be dipping into sight words and some simple math!
Preschool is a time for your child to become acclimated to what school in the future will bring. We'll learn how to cohesively play with each other, use our manners and all things we'll need to be successful going into kindergarten!
I'm looking forward to this year and can't wait to see what's in store for us!

About me
Hi! My name is Lexie Pickering. I began my journey in teaching in 2012, attending WilmU. In 2020, I received my Master's degree in management and I'm currently taking my doctorate in organizational leadership! I guess you could say I love to learn. :)
I'm a mama to a beautiful little boy, Joshua, who I'm sure you'll get to know during our school year.
My husband, lovingly known as Firefighter Steve, will play a part in our classroom as well when it comes to fire safety week!
Teaching has always held a special place in my heart. I make sure that each child feels loved, welcomed and shares their own unique bond with their teacher. While learning is important, we take pride in the fact that our preschool room radiates positivity, love and most importantly- fun!!
