Background:
Stanford Consulting is a student-run undergraduate professional services group that offers management consulting services to a wide variety of clients. With access to renowned faculty members and information databases from Stanford University, the School of Medicine, and the Graduate School of Business, we provide our clients with quality consulting services and generate real value for their companies. Over the past 30 years, we have helped companies such as Microsoft, Tesla, Disney, P&G, Nike, and many non-profit organizations develop management, growth, and marketing strategies. Case Structure: Stanford Consulting is currently sourcing cases to last approximately 10 weeks during Stanford’s winter or spring quarter. The Project Director will negotiate an Engagement Proposal with the client prior to the start of the case to define objectives and key results. A Stanford Consulting case team of one Project Director and five consultants will deliver a minimum of two formal (one midpoint and one final) presentations with slide deck deliverables during the engagement. Constant contact between Stanford Consulting and the client is the norm to ensure that the case exceeds expectations.
Timeline:
A typical engagement occurs over a 10-12 week time span and consists of 750+ hours of work for our clients from some of Stanford’s best graduate and undergraduate students. For a winter case beginning midpoint presentations will take place in mid-February, and the case will wrap up with a final presentation at the end of March (with an analogous timeframe for a spring case).

Fees: Stanford Consulting typically charges about $15,000 for a quarter-long project, with exceptions made for pro bono cases.
