Renters of Silicon Valley is a storytelling project that aims to gather 50 stories from renters and communities experiencing housing instability. Organized by PACT, People Acting in Community Together, the project is led by youth and students passionate about collecting interviews, creating social media content, and developing creative ways in sharing the stories of our community members to the larger public. The stories will be shared as testimonies, videos, and various online content through platforms such as Instagram, a Medium blog, and Facebook. At the end of our project, we will host a community celebration in August, sharing appreciation for our organizers and community members leading our story telling efforts and encouraging members to join in our renters rights campaigns.
If you are interested in sharing your story or interviewing other renters, please contact Katherine Nasol at KatherineNasol@PactSJ.org.
