MANAGING DIRECTOR OF OPERATION SERVICES, EQT
Nehemiah Katz is an operations and sustainable supply chain expert. He began his career as a Marine Officer where he honed his expertise in project and program management during the course of two combat deployments. After leaving the Marine Corps in 2009, he entered supply chain strategy consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton supporting manufacturing and inventory management. Nehemiah took a pivot to oil and gas joining Shell in 2012 where he led the Construction Contracting and Procurement Team in the onshore gas business unit during the Transformation of Onshore Gas Supply Chain project. Nehemiah left Shell to join Rice Energy and stand up their supply chain function as well as lead an ERP implementation. Following the successful sale of Rice Energy, Nehemiah joined PrecisionHawk, a geospatial data analytics startup where he managed the P&L for the Oil and Gas vertical as a member of the executive team. While at PrescisionHawk, Nehemiah focused heavily on emissions management and the relationship to operational data using remote measurement. Nehemiah rejoined the Rice Energy management team coming back to EQT. Currently, he is the Managing Director of Operation Services supporting the evolution of the firm. Accomplishments to date include development of EQT’s Carbon Intensity Model, participation in OHI, as well as development and implementation of EQT’s net zero 2025 plan.
Nehemiah holds a bachelors from the US Naval Academy and a Masters in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt along with several other process management and improvement certifications to include Financial Management from Cornell’s Johnson Business School. Nehemiah lives in Wheeling, WV with his wife and their two children.
