ENGINEER, NATIONAL ENERGY TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY
Megan Henriksen is an Engineer and site support contractor at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL). She serves as OHI’s Technical Working Group Coordinator and leads NETL LCA hydrogen research, notably contributing to NETL’s 2022 Hydrogen Fossil Baseline report. In addition, Megan has conducted LCAs on renewable electricity, carbon capture systems, and biomass.
Megan is a 2021 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an additional major in Engineering and Public Policy. Previous to NETL, Megan interned with Michigan’s Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, where she gained experience in wastewater treatment and PFAS. She was also a research assistant at CMU’s Center for Atmospheric Particle Studies, contributing to work on air quality sensors and aerosols.
