JEFF BECHDEL

Jeff Bechdel is a public affairs specialist in FTI Consulting’s Energy and Natural Resources segment within the firm’s Strategic Communications practice. With a background in political and rapid response communications, Jeff develops and implements solutions for clients across the energy spectrum.​ Jeff joined FTI in 2019 and draws from nearly 15 years of experience in fast-paced communications environments for clients in hydrogen, power generation, oil and gas, and renewables. Prior to joining FTI, he led communications efforts for political action committees and statewide campaigns for presidential, gubernatorial, and Senate candidates, and his Capitol Hill experience includes tenures in both the House and Senate. 

Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.​
