Make Something Beautiful
Help Us Celebrate Our 125th Anniversary!
This year the EE Department celebrates its 125th anniversary. As part of the celebration we are building a beautiful interactive light sculpture to be installed in the David Packard Electrical Engineering Building staircase.
If you’d like to receive future emails about workshops and events for the interactive art installation project in Packard, please subscribe to the ee125-project list: https://mailman.stanford.edu/mailman/listinfo/ee125-project
or send an email to Steven Clark <steven.clark@stanford.edu> and he can sign you up.
OUR WEEKLY WORKSHOPS
Next week is the second weekly workshop on the large scale interactive light art installation we’re building to celebrate the 125 anniversary of the EE department. These weekly workshops are a way for students, faculty, staff, and alumni from across the university to collaborate on and contribute to the art piece. Charles Gadeken, the artistic director for the project, leads them.
Workshops are generally held on Mondays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Room 001 of the David Packard Electrical Engineering Building. If Monday is a University holiday, the workshop will be held the following Wednesday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the same location.
