Hon Xing Wong is a Senior Manager, Programs at GTI Energy in the Zero Emissions Systems team where he is Executive Director of the Net Zero Infrastructure. He was previously at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy where he researched climate and energy transition risks, and electrification of the transportation sector. He also consulted with New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) on electric bus projects. Previously, he was a chartered chemical engineer at BP and held various engineering and site-operations roles in Angola, Egypt, and the North Sea, UK. He holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Master of Engineering in chemical and environmental engineering from Nottingham University.
