Room 104 Happenings

Welcome to the 2018-19 school year!!

The year is flying by! We have had many challenges and successes!

Battle of the Books kickoff is Thursday February 21! There will be a character assembly with many of Northeast's teachers acting out characters from some of the 80 books from the Battle.

Math: We are starting long division. Please practice times tables with your child.

Reading: We are currently learning about the Regions of the United States while practicing our important reading skills.

Writing: We are finishing our opinion writing pieces and we will begin a research project on different U.S. regions.

Word Work: We continue to practice vocabulary skills, spelling strategies, and grammar during our word work block.

Social Studies: We are studying the many aspects of life in Connecticut from colonial times to present day.

Chromebooks: We have full use of individual chromebooks every day in our classroom. It is an incredible tool to help our learning and access the internet.
