At St Christopher’s, we firmly believe in an all-round education where academic pursuits are supported by wonderful and extended learning opportunities within our Sports and Arts Academy (SPARTA).

Our wide-ranging programme of activities, societies, events and trips allow students to find alternative avenues of interest to explore and enjoy. By involving the students in this rich programme we hope that their enjoyment of school life will be enhanced and personal skills will be developed.

It is not uncommon for students to develop a long-lasting interest and enthusiasm for their activities, continuing on to more advanced levels as they progress through and beyond the school. SPARTA activities therefore, make an important contribution to the all-round education that St Christopher’s provides.

By providing unique, educational and positive experiences, we empower youth to see the world outside of their classrooms and neighbourhoods, grow hope in their future, pursue active roles in society and achieve goals.

Our classes utilise the exceptional facilities of St Christopher’s School including the latest generation, FIFA Standard, artificial grass football pitch as well as a fully shaded 7-a-side pitch. 

The heated and chilled, air-conditioned indoor pool, home to the St Chris Sharks, is the ideal setting for those learning to swim or looking to improve their technique and has space for parents to sit in comfort and watch their child progress.

These facilities enable us to further develop our coaching provision and ensure sessions can run all year round. 

SPARTA activities are also open to all members of the Bahrain community, with coaching offered to all age groups.
