points to consider BEFORE registering


  • Online learning provides flexibility for students to enjoy summer while at the same time earn high school credits.
  • Online courses are definitely more convenient and flexible, but are in some ways more difficult.
  • Self-motivation and good time management skills are essential. Online learning requires a significant commitment of time and effort in order to succeed.
  • Students should expect to spend approximately 10 hours a week to each course.
  • LTeCampus summer courses are delivered online.
  • Students may register for up to 2 courses. A registration fee of $25/course will be charged for Current MSDLT students and $50/course for non-MSDLT students.
  • LTeC Courses run from June 3 - July 18, 2019.
  • All work must be completed by July 18. This includes the final exam.
  • Due to the shortened amount of time for classes, students should enroll in a maximum of TWO (2) courses.
  • If student enrolls in two courses they will be required to work on BOTH semesters/courses at the same time.
  • Exam times will be offered July 15- July 18. Students MUST sit for the exam(s) at their home school during this window. On or before June 28th, students will be able to register for a final exam day and time at either LNHS or LCHS. Day and Evening times will be available.
  • A separate registration form must be completed for each course that you would like to request.

Technology Requirements

  • Students will need some kind of technology device whether that is a tablet, laptop, desktop or Chromebook
  • All course content will be delivered through the Lawrence Township Learning Management System Canvas.
  • Daily Internet access and basic computer skills
  • INTERNET ACCESS - High speed, cable or wireless is required. If you do not have access to Internet at home you will need to make sure you have daily access. NO WIFI at home? Below are two options for receiving internet service at home.

Registration Information

after you submit your course request:


  • Your guidance counselor will review and either approve or deny the course or courses that you are requesting.
  • Once reviewed, you will receive a confirming e-mail (allow 7-10 school days for this response).
  • If the course is approved, you will receive information regarding payment. (Please note: Payment will be due no later than June 10 and can be made online by credit card; or by cash/check submitted to LTeC Summer School, 6501 Sunnyside Road, 46236. Payment cannot be made at your school and should NOT be made until you receive an approval e-mail.)
  • If the course is denied, you will be redirected to request an alternate class or to meet with your counselor.
  • Student orientation should be watched in the video above.
  • If you will be using a Chromebook over the summer, you will need to keep your device at the end of the school year. Incoming 9th graders will get your device from your middle school. High school students will turn in your device on the last day of Semester 2 finals. This will be immediately returned to you after check in. If you are having an issue with your device during the summer, you will need to arrange a time to get a loaner Chromebook from your high school.
