Theme 6: Let's Create!
Week 2: Sing and Dance
This unit is all about being creative. We will be telling stories, creating music and dances, making art, and building.
This week we will be looking at different stories inspired by music and that make us want to dance. We will get time to be creative and dance away in the classroom to fun songs. Our big question of the week is "How can we express ourselves through music and dance?".

The students will identify and create shapes with yarn while working their fine motor skills.

The students will blend identify rhyming words while playing a board game.
Math
The students will extend and create simple patterns using frog manipulatives.
TLIM
The students will demonstrate understanding of how to retell a story while building in the block center.
