Join us this Sunday, May 3rd, in the Larry Sigler Auditorium at 6 pm for the Hometown Cast performance and stay for the 7 pm Competition Cast. Come see this final performance before they go and compete for the State Title in Austin on May 20.
Huge Congratulations to Zain Keshwani for earning 1st place at the Regional UIL Computer Science Competition! This is an incredible accomplishment, especially considering how competitive this region is.
We are advancing to State for the 2nd year in a row!! Way to go, Zain!
Our team also did an outstanding job in our first time competing at regionals. We placed 4th place - just shy of 3rd. Way to go Venkat, Zain, Olivia and Jonah!
We are so proud of you all!
Please join me in congratulating Paola Jones, Emma Yoon, Aylisa Crabb, Isaac Yoo, Eleanor Mack, Lily Caldwell, Joule Jackson and Aliza Khan for their outstanding achievement at this weekend’s STATE Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE).
These students proudly represented Region 11N and LISD with excellence at the largest art competition in Texas. Beginning with more than 36,000 entries statewide, only 2,100 works advanced to the STATE level. Remarkably, all eight Marcus students earned medals for their work.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and the arts.
