Welcome to the Forest Vista Library! 

My name is Katie Delamarter and I am the Forest Vista Elementary Library Media Specialist.  Before becoming a Librarian, I was a Kindergarten and 1st Grade Teacher for 5 years.  The 2023-24 school year is my 22nd year in education and my 16th as a Librarian.  I am passionate about ensuring all students fall in love with reading and have access to the books they want to read.  I also love providing hands-on learning experiences and integrating technology whenever possible.
