2021 Projects

Each month, The New York Times runs a contest for students aged 13 to 18. For September and October, students were tasked with examining their lives and how they have changed over the last year.

What does it mean to be a teenager in 2021?

After learning the basic definition of metacognition, students spent some time reflecting on their habits as students and their personality traits that make up who they are. Then they created structures which represent them as they are now.

In order to understand what parts make up a brain, students constructed Thinking Caps after identifying all of many structures and their purposes.
