What is STEAM Education?
STEAM Education helps build students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experimental learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. As students work toward college and career readiness, these are essential skills in the ever-changing workforce.
Welcome to the 2024 STEAM Fair! This year, our students and teachers had the option to complete a project that falls under the umbrella of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). The choice was given to either complete a virtual or board presentation. All virtual projects can be found on their school pages below. All traditional projects will be on display at the ESD 159 STEM Center for Kindergarten-Fifth Grade students and families on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, and in the Colin Powell Middle School students in the Gymnasium on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 6 PM- 7 PM.
