ATHLETICS TRAINING FOR YEAR FOUR AT OPS

Our close links with Orleans Park School come in handy when we are looking for a spot of coaching in athletics. Year Four enjoyed a fantastic session on the OPS pitches and running track, honing their sprinting and javelin skills. Thanks for having us OPS.

A VISIT TO YEAR TWO

We dropped into the Year Two classrooms for a catch up. Our staff are always hands on in lessons, and this week our children were thrilled to get help from Mrs Cryan when it came to learning about direction. Mrs Cryan marked out a grid on the carpet to help our children learn their lefts from their rights and to get to grips with turning clockwise and anti-clockwise. The session was a great success, and we are happy to report that everyone was moving in the right direction at the end. While, over in the studio, musical Miss Douglas showcased her virtuouso recorder playing in Year Two's weekly Richmond Music Trust lessons. The tuneful youngsters love these sessions and are now able to play some wonderful pieces. Well done Miss Douglas and Year Two, you were most definitely a treat for the ears.
