A Clean Sweep in the Playground?
Can you help?
In the absence of a Premises Manager at the moment, our playground is looking a little unloved. The playground area is such a core part of our life at St Stephen's, not just for recreational use but also for games and science lessons, and without a Premises Manager to keep it in tip top tidiness, it is beginning to look unkempt. We are looking for a group of volunteers to give it a little spruce up. Could you help? We would love to have a 'Big Sweep' in the St Stephen's playground at a weekend very soon. A team with a broom for a morning/afternoon at the weekend could make all the difference. We would need one or two people to lead the team of volunteers - if you are interested in this, please email: jessica.tozer@st-stephens.richmond.sch.uk
As always, thank you so much for your support.
PHOTOGRAPHY PERMISSION
Just to confirm, if you do not see your child's photograph in the newsletter, it is because you have ticked that you would not like them to appear. If you would like to change your photography permissions at anytime, please let us know and we will alter our records accordingly. Thank you.
WELLBEING WEEK - 7TH-11TH FEBRUARY
Growing Together is about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow. Challenges and setbacks can help us to grow and adapt and trying new things can help us to move beyond our comfort zone into a new realm of possibility and potential. However, emotional growth is often a gradual process that happens over time, and sometimes we might feel a bit ‘stuck’.
For Children's Mental Health Week 2022, we will be encouraging children (and adults) to consider how they have grown and how they can help others to grow.
We are looking forward to celebrating this week at St Stephen's with an array of activities including mindfulness, yoga, talks and workshops (TBC) from visitors.
