AP Physics 1

In AP Physics 1: Algebra-Based, you’ll learn about kinematics, dynamics, and energy through hands-on laboratory work to investigate and answer questions.

Your Summer Assignment will consist of the following Parts: 

1.  Case Study: How fast is a snowboarder?

2. Scientists use special practices to understand and describe the natural world

3. Problem solving using mathematical, graphical, and reasoning skills

4. Simplifying Models: The Object Model & System Model 

5. Measurement in Physis

6. Dimensional Analysis

Before starting your assignment, take some time to visit the College Board AP Physics 1 website and learn about the class/exam

The complete summer assignment will count as your first summative assessment grade.  Make sure to contact your teacher or AP of CCMR at your campus if you have any questions throughout the summer.  Due dates can be found here.
